Grand Holler End-of-Year Party with Blu Volta

Bluesy roots-rock that sounds like it’s meant to be played out of a rusty old pick-up truck makes up the tracklist on Grand Holler’s debut album Out of the Past. The title gives a good indication of where the band pulls its inspiration from. Listeners can hear the appreciation for artists like Bob Seger and Bruce Springsteen in vocalist Andy Spaeth’s delivery as he thunders out ballads with bandmates Jesse Annala, Mark Erickson and Travis Farleigh. Playing across various taverns and festivals throughout the region, the band has started writing material for its second album.
