After much anticipation, Bent Paddle Brewing Co.'s new taproom is opening to the public. Greenlight New Music Festival is a new modern classical concert series focused on bringing new music to the Duluth community. The closing concert features guest artist Matt Magerkurth from Oklahoma in an improvisational exploration of the cello, local composer Wendy Durrwachter, and the renowned local artists Dr. Theodore Schoen and Adam Sippola. Bent Paddle Brewing Co. celebrates nine years in business with its annual Festiversary street festival. The event includes two stages of live music, food trucks, games and family friendly activities and a lot of Bent Paddle beer. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate; $15 for designated drivers and attendees under age 21 and free for kids age 14 and under. Enjoy all-levels, physically-distanced yoga classes. Wintertime classes take place in the old tap room. Spring, summer and fall yoga classes take place on the new outdoor lawn space. Afterward, enjoy a free beverage. Beer, Kombucha and soda are available. Pre-registration is recommended. Class is open to anyone 18+. Bring a yoga mat and a mask for arrival and check-in.
