Water Cat is a Franco-American duo with a sweet, stompy and eclectic sound. Consisting of Emma Musto as the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Henry Bullard, Water Cat can take you from original songs on the resonator guitar to Nirvana on the banjo.

Sam Chandler joins Calvin Caron on bass and Ian Hopp on drums to perform a jazz tio. The group features all three instrumentalists on various jazz standards, less-played jazz compositions and original tunes.

Ross Thorn offers a thoughtful exploration into mortality, loss and identity on his debut album, Hugo. The nine-track record "leans heavily into Ross's folk and country roots, showcasing introspective and melancholic songwriting along with political fervor and compassion for anyone that appreciates an old sound with a forward-looking message." Ross’s musical inspirations range from the classic storytelling of Bob Dylan and Don McLean to the pop-energy of Queen and Lady Gaga, showcasing songwriting within an air of acoustic-folk-pop.

Rory Van James is a 6'9" singer/songwriter and after years of traveling the country as a professional baseball player, Rory decided to shift gears and begin a musical career.

One-man band, Yuya Mix, is a modern folk singer/songwriter who uses small town life and his Japanese-American upbringing in the Midwest as musical inspiration. His set includes a guitar and ukulele, keeping in time with his suitcase-drum and tambourine while often mixing in either a harmonica or kazoo.

Boxcar brings their high energy country rock n' role to Bent Paddle. Enjoy delicious craft beers and a few vintage country classics. Foxie Moxy Band kicks things off at 6 p.m. — Boxcar starts at 8 p.m. 

Marc Gartman and Jerree Small teamed up in 2008 and have been playing their original folk music ever since.

Consisting of sidemen from various acoustic bands in the Midwest, the Side String Band yearns to bring back the sound of old-time bluegrass with progressive folk undertones. All ages.

Chris Hollister, Tony Petersen and Chris Kopp make up this rabble-rousing folk band. They are slightly vaudevillian in their approach to the audience. They get everyone engaged and there will be jokes and stories. Audience members may unknowingly become part of the show. This a family friendly event.

Mondays in March. Curly J will be joined weekly by different musicians. All ages and family-friendly.

After 13 years of their own musical adventures, Charity and Nate are back on the stage joining forces once again. Charity's alternative folk-pop-jazz sounds is mixed with Nate's rock and bluegrass layers. This concert is for all ages.

King J-Lar has been inspired by the original dub masters King Tubby, Prince Jammy and Lee "Scratch" Perry. King J-Lar performs live dub mixing in the most traditional way possible. This event will also feature a TNT HiFi + King J-Lar mash-up, dedicated to the musicality and resilience of Reggae Music & Culture. Expect songs of peace, love, humanity, happiness, and rebellion. John Kerns is a songwriter who utilizes several guitars, foot-percussion stomp-boxes, multiple instrument loops and multiple microphones.

Harrison Olk and Jon Miller have joined forces to bring a musical experience rooted in the genres of bluegrass and jam music. With Olk on banjo and Miller on guitar, they create modern renditions of classic bluegrass and folk songs along with heartfelt originals.

Dean Mattoon and Esmé Alexis blend style and voice, with a shared adoration of entrancing vocal harmony and melodic electric guitar. Inspired by a range of artists, they mix Americana and Roots music with a twist of Soul. Touching on subjects such as death, awakenings, moving on and a few good times along the way, their commitment to being present in each song resonates with audiences.

Kenneth Gregory is a musician, composer and lifelong Minnesotan who grew up in the Duluth area. The all-ages show will take place outdoors on the Bent Paddle Yard and Lollygagger Stage.
