Your Classical Class Notes Concert Series: The Paper Clips

The Class Notes Concert Series showcases artists who perform at schools partnered with MPR’s Class Notes program. The initiative provides in-person educational performances by local Minnesota-based artists in schools throughout the state.

The Paper Clips are a trombone quartet based in Minneapolis. Their performances showcase the history and cultural impact of the Motown Record label. They combine the soulful melodies and rhythms of 1960s classic Motown with the power of a trombone quartet to connect to the roots in Black American Music and popular music styles of the 20th century.

Registration is not required, but preferred for this free event.
