Lake Superior Writers presents the virtual workshop “Intro to Flash Fiction,” taught by Betsy Finesilver Haberl.
Flash fiction stories are very short stories. Finesilver Haberl will discuss characteristics of flash fiction, emphasizing language, imagery and the use of subtext. Writing exercises will focus on five primary types of flash fiction: monologue, individual scene, snapshot story, tale and experiment.
The workshop is open to writers high-school aged and older. Writers of all genres and levels of experience are welcome. The event is $20 for Lake Superior Writers members and $30 for non-members.
