Oct 15, 2023, 9:30 am | Free | Unitarian Universalist Congregation

Event Navigation

Charlie Orsak is a retired child psychologist and volunteer with Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light and Citizen’s Climate Lobby. His presentation highlights how children are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change, how to talk with kids about climate change and build their resilience, and steps families can take together. There will be time for questions and discussion.

This presentation speaks to parents, grandparents and anyone who cares about kids. Children are welcome, although younger children might not understand some concepts and some information might be distressing for them.
