Transit Equity Day Screening of Biking While Black

The Zeitgeist presents “Biking While Black: How Safe are Black Lives While Bicycling?” This film by Yolanda Davis-Overstreet is about bicycling while Black in Los Angles. The film will be a conversation starter for people in Duluth and the surrounding area to consider the structural and infrastructural racism that continues to endanger BIPOC lives and disenfranchise communities of color, despite good intentions for people-powered transportation and street design. This event is free and will include popcorn and hot cider.
