Feb 21, 2023, 6:30 pm | Free | Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center

Event Navigation

This event has been postponed. The speaker is unable to attend due to travel conditions. The event will be rescheduled for a later date.

The 1950s were a time of great racial division in America, but when Jesse Brown, the Navy’s first black aviator, was shot down over North Korea, his wingman Tom Hudner did the unthinkable to save him and crashed his own plane into the same mountain.

The Bong Center is pleased to welcome Experimental Aircraft Association Program Director Chris Henry to share this true story, which was recently depicted in the film Devotion.
