Taiko Arts Midwest at UW-Superior

The University of Wisconsin-Superior will host the Japanese drum group, Taiko Arts Midwest, for a free workshop and performance for the campus and community. The workshop will run from 4 to 5 p.m. and will be followed by a performance at 6 p.m.

Taiko is the Japanese word for drum and refers to the modern style of playing. The high-energy performance art combines music, dance, martial arts, athletics and culture.
