Sensible Shoes: A Queer Dance Party feat. Jesscribe & Embalming Eva

Sensible Shoes is a queer-hosted dance party occurring about every 1-2 months with rotating featured performers. DJ and poet Jesscribe the Vibe hosts an ambient poetry open mic from 8-9 p.m. And then the dance party kicks off with Embalming Eva. The duo perform on and off during the duration of the dance party. Attendees can come ready to request their favorite bops (and of course, some sensible shoes).

Adeline Wright and the “Lesbian Money Collective” help host the event, ready with stamped “lesbian money” dollar bills to circulate through the night.
