Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College presents the 18th annual Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes or orange clothing to celebrate the theme of the race.
This year’s event includes a new option for all ages. The Ring Road Fun Run will be a short race circling the college campus. The race will cover one lap of the campus’ ring road. Youth 10 and under are able to register for the Ring Road Fun Run for free. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt.
The Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K course starts and finishes at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. Essentially flat, the course features a fast downhill stretch with a return trip up the same hill. Mile markers will be posted and traffic control measures will be in place. No water stops on the course, but water will be available at the start and finish area of the race. No strollers, roller skates, skateboards, baby joggers, bicycles, or pets are allowed on the 5K race course. This will be enforced on race day morning and anyone found violating this rule will be asked to leave the race course.
The Ring Road Fun Run starts at 9:30 a.m.; the Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K starts at 10.

The entry fee leading up to and on race day is $25 per person, with special pre-registration rates for students and individuals if submitted before Oct. 15. Thanks to support from the FDLTCC Child Development program’s Miskwaadesi Head Start Project, children 10 and under can register for the new Ring Road Fun Run for free.
Online registration is available through Tempo Tickets. Participants can also register by mail in advance or on the day of the race. To celebrate the fun Halloween theme of the race, participants are encouraged to wear costumes or orange clothing. Prizes will be given for the best costumes.
