Speaker Herman Lindsey was wrongfully convicted in 2006 and endured three years on death row for the robbery and murder of a Ft. Lauderdale pawn-shop owner. Prior to the speaker, visitors can attend the opening reception for the related UMD senior art exhibit “Exonerated” by Holly Brown from 4-6 p.m. at the Tweed Museum of Art. Food will be provided.
