Advance Care Planning Class
Event Navigation
Essentia Health is hosting free advance care planning classes on April 13 and May 3.
Advance care planning is a process that helps people think and talk about choices for health care in the future and prepare for creating an advance directive, also known as a living will or health care directive. Having these conversations proactively helps ensure preferences are understood when a person becomes unable to make medical decisions due to an accident, injury or sudden illness.
For the safety of the community, these classes are being offered online. Visit essentiahealth.org to register and for more information on advance care planning.
Those unable to attend a virtual class but are interested in learning about advance care planning can view the pre-recorded webinar, “It’s about the conversation,” at the above link.
