Intro to Pottery: Throwing Mugs Class

This class consists of two sessions held Nov. 9 and 11. There are two time options; participants can choose to attend the 4 to 6 p.m. class or the 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. class.

Students will be introduced to the basics of pottery. Topics include: throwing, trimming, handle pulling/attachment and glazing. The cost of the class includes kiln firing one piece made by the student.

Firing additional pieces will be charged accordingly. A glazing session will be scheduled with the student, or at the student’s discretion the teacher will glaze the pieces.
