Duluth Dylan Fest 2021: John Bushey Memorial Lecture

Engel’s 1997 book, Just Like Bob Zimmerman’s Blues: Dylan in Minnesota, is as much about Hibbing and Duluth as it is the boyhood of their sometimes-favorite son. The non-traditional narrative has baffled and intrigued many readers and the multitude of geographical and cultural details render Zimmerman’s Blues fascinating to locals and invaluable for Dylan scholars.
