CNC Router Basics: Sign Engraving Class

In this class, students design a personalized sign, understand the engrave tool path and create the sign on the “big” Computer Numerical Control at the Makerspace. Students must be familiar with basic computer operation such as downloading and installing programs, identifying file types, and saving files to USB drives. A personal laptop is preferred to simplify future project setup.
