Bulldogs Go Green: A Sustainability Summit

UMD Marketing Department and the Marketing for a Better World class are hosting a sustainability summit. This event aims to teach the community about social, sustainable and cultural events happening at UMD and in the Duluth area.

Students will showcase their work in an original research showcase where topics include UMD and Duluth sustainability, homelessness in the Twin Ports, community gardens, improving public transportation, affordable housing and sustainable businesses in Duluth. Plus, hear from a panel of local professionals, including Jonna Korpi from UMD sustainability, Mindy Granley from Duluth sustainability, Jennifer Hansen from Ecolibrium3, Jaci Christiansen from Safe Haven, Seth Currier from The Damiano Center and Nomi Ostrander from UMD Social Work.
