PDD Transmission advertising rates fluctuate with readership growth and seasonal demand, and are subject to variables noted below. Agreements for multi-week ad purchases lock in the price for a period spanning the date of the first ad run through either the date of the completion of the ad run or one year, whichever comes first.

Discounts are available in conjunction with advertising on Perfect Duluth Day’s website.

Ad Size

The standard rate applies to ad graphics that are either 250-by-250 pixels or 600-by-150 pixels.

Larger ad graphics must be 600 pixels wide and will be billed an additional $1 for every 10 vertical pixels beyond 150. (Example: A one-time 600-by-600 pixel ad would have an additional $45 added to the base price of $50 and cost $95 total.)

Position

Ads are sold on a best-position-available basis. Long-term advertisers will appear at or near the top; newer advertisers will appear lower on the page.

Deadline

Ads must be scheduled by the Monday preceding the Thursday edition. Graphics must be received by Tuesday.

Irregular Multi-week Packages

1 week → $50 → $45 per additional week up to 9 weeks
10 weeks → $400 → $40 per additional week up to 25 weeks
26 weeks → $800 → $35 per additional week up to 51 weeks
