First Annual “Links 4 Rinks”

Links 4 Rinks is a golf fundraiser designed to help preserve the long-standing tradition of outdoor hockey in Duluth. Links 4 Rinks will get the local outdoor rink communities together and raise funds to help offset the high cost of maintaining these rinks and keep the registration fees low for the players and their families, especially in today’s tough economic times.

When: Saturday, Sept. 25 (12:00 shotgun start)

Where: Lester Park Golf Course

Contribution: $60/per person ($300/team). Includes greens fees, golf cart, dinner and one raffle ticket

Format: 5-person scramble (teams play from the best available shot)

Events: Par 3 Plinko, putting contest, proximities (long drive,closest to the pin and longest putt), skins game and more

Awards/Dinner: The awards and dinner banquet will immediately follow the golf at Aces on First. Food
provided by Sammy’s Pizza at approximately 6 p.m.
