Painting Event at AAD Shrine Center
Northern Exposure Art invites you to paint your own masterpiece with step-by-step instructions. Spirit of the Lake Community School's song circle will be taught in the oral tradition, so songs will be taught by song leader, Hella Wartman, and no music or lyric sheets will be used. The group will be singing a variety of rounds, layer songs, zipper songs and call and response songs. Register for any of the song circles in this series at ziffy.com.

This course we will focus on the fundamental building blocks of story by examining “story beats” in both literary classics and by reading flash fiction examples. After examining examples, participants will have a variety of prompts to craft a narrative or come ready with your own idea ready to edit. Students will leave with a piece ready to pitch to the variety of literary magazines, both virtually and in print.
