Science Hike on Park Point
Join Duluth Foot Trails Alliance and Duluth Parks and Rec for a fun and educational early evening hike out on Park Point. The hike will be along the Park Point Trail and the beach while learning about the flora and fauna, identifying poison ivy, rip currents and more. The hike will be at a casual pace on a relatively flat and sandy trail. Registration required.

Full Moon Hike
Hike on the evening of the full moon to enjoy the peacefulness of the night sky. Headlamps will be provided if desired. This activity is for all ages. Meet at Park Point. This trail is an easy hike. Plant Ecology of Park Point
Arrowhead Native Plant Explorers will hike at Park Point with DNR plant ecologist and botanist Rebecca Holmstrom. All are welcome. Minnesota Point is a unique area in Minnesota. It is the only place in the state that supports coastal dune features and biodiversity specific to this type of habitat.

Halloween Full Moon Hike
