The 14th annual Duluth Senior Expo will feature exhibitors, live entertainment, seminars and more. Over 100 businesses will fill the exhibit hall with information on everything to do with being a senior citizen. The National Kidney Foundation will be offering a free kidney checkup through its KEEP Healthy program. A Grandma’s Marathon weekend tradition since 1977. Race participants, families, friends and the entire community are encouraged to sit down and enjoy a dinner in a family-style atmosphere. Unlimited spaghetti with marinara sauce, with or without Italian sausage meatballs, Caesar salad, Country Hearth breads, Kemps milk and Dasani water. The Duluth Kennel Club All-Breed Dog Show runs July 13-16, featuring over 150 breeds of dogs competing for "Best in Show." Each day is a new competition. Exhibitors participating come from throughout the United States and Canada. Competitors compete for the best representative of their breed. Each breed then competes for the Best in their group -- sporting dog, non-sporting dog, Tty dogs, etc. Each group winner competes in the final competition for Best in Show.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2019
The annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a three-mile walk that begins behind Pioneer Hall at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the ceremony at 10 a.m., and the walk to follow. Registration is mandatory, but there is no fee. To start or join a team, visit the Alzheimer’s Association. Handpicked vendors from all over the state of Minnesota and beyond bring junk, repurposed treasures and rusty finds to sell at the annual fall Junk Hunt, which runs Nov. 1-2.
