Mural Unveiling Ceremony
American Indian Community Housing Organization dedicates its newest mural with a short program highlighting the key people involved. Refreshments will be served. The new mural is part of the College of St. Scholastica's Mural Initiative Project, which seeks to connect students with a visiting artist and the Twin Ports community in artistic collaboration. AICHO hosts book author Brenda Child, illustrator Jonathan Thunder and Ojibwemowin language book translator Gordon Jourdain. There will be an art display featuring the illustrations from the book. Refreshments will be served. Suggested donation: $10 at the door.

The American Indian Community Housing Organization will open it’s gift shop location for a weeklong sale running Feb. 13-15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shop will also be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 16. Indigenous First Opening Event
Indigenous First opens for the holiday season on Nov. 26. Regular hours are 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. It will also be open small business Saturday, Nov. 27. There will also be new soaps, candles, books, giclée prints and original art available at the American Indian Community Housing Organization, 202 W.
