West Duluth Memorial Day Parade 2024

The annual parade along Grand Avenue in West Duluth features marching bands, floats, antique cars, motorcycles and military groups. It is coordinated by Duluth Women of Today.
Parade units line up on 59th Avenue West between Raleigh Street and Grand Avenue beginning at 10:30 a.m. The parade begins at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The parade route runs east on Grand Avenue from 59th Avenue West to Central Avenue, then south on Central Avenue to Ramsey Street, and east on Ramsey Street where it disbands.
No parking will be allowed on either side of Grand Avenue along the parade route. “No parking” signs will be posted along this route. Vehicles in violation will be tagged and towed. Motorists should be alert to detours and officers directing traffic.
All traffic will be detoured off of Grand Avenue during the parade between 59th Avenue West and Ramsey Street starting at noon and continuing until the parade ends at approximately 1:30 p.m.
All avenues and exits onto Grand Avenue between 59th Avenue West and Central Avenue will be closed during the parade. 59th Avenue West will be blocked from Grand Avenue to Raleigh Street for the parade line-up area starting at 10:30 a.m.
DTA buses and other traffic will be detoured around the Grand Avenue closure to Central Avenue, Cody Street and 59th Avenue West.
