The inaugural event in the Round Here Concert Series features Lanue and the Nunnery. The Lanue set will be a solo performance showcasing Sarah Krueger’s rich vocals and poetic lyrics. The Nunnery is Eau Claire native Sarah Elstran, who excels at combining improvisation, catchy hooks and vibey grooves in a blend of vocal and percussive sounds.
The concert will take place at Spirit Mountain’s new base-chalet stage off Grand Avenue; do not go to the top of the hill. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or a blanket. The stage faces a grassy-gravelly knoll on the south side of the chalet.
The Round Here Concert Series is the brain trust of Sonja Bjordal, Kelsey Nocek and Clif Nesseth.
