Morgan Park Walking Tour

Morgan Park Resident Bob Berg leads this Duluth Preservation Alliance walking tour, starting at the neighborhood mall at 1096 88th Ave. W. This is an opportunity to learn about historic Morgan Park — the company town that was a planned community built by U.S. Steel to serve the Duluth Works steel plant in the early 1900s. As you tour, you will learn first-hand how this town was laid out to be focused on community and family.
If the weather is rainy, the group will postpone to a future date, otherwise dress appropriately. The approximate duration of this tour is an hour and a half, distance is about a 2-mile walk. For those interested, the tour will end with refreshments and socializing at Bob’s historic Morgan Park home afterward.
