Modern Quilt Walkabout

The Lake Superior Modern Quilt Guild hosts its first ever quilt show to be held throughout the month of March. The Lake Superior Modern Quilt Guild’s Modern Quilt Walkabout quilt show runs from March 1-31 in two locations in the Lincoln Park Craft District. Two events kick off the displays:
1) The Open House kicks-off the month-long event and gives attendees the opportunity to meet the quilters, view the quilt display and share refreshments.
2) Interactive displays and demonstrations are available on March 18 (National Quilting Day) at both Duluth Pottery & Tile and Enger Lofts. Guests can talk to quilters as they demonstrate quilting techniques and try their hand at quilt design on a design board.
This activity is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, thanks to appropriations from Minnesota State Legislature’s General Fund.
