Live Music Revival: Jason Schooler

Originally from Detroit Lakes, Jason Schooler spent 20 years growing his music career in Hutchinson, where he started a teaching studio, Groove Street Music Studio, taught at numerous schools, recorded and performed with his band, the Jason Schooler Band and was involved in other music projects. In 2017 he retired from music, selling his studio and all his instruments to buy sewing machines. Jason and family moved to Duluth that year. Coming out of retirement in 2022, he performs solo acoustic sets of original music with an outlaw country / dark country / Americana vibe.
