JAM Concert Series: North Shore Big Band

The North Shore Big Band was started in 1993 by a group of musician friends who graduated from Duluth public schools or University of Minnesota Duluth. Audiences of all ages have enjoyed this wide variety of fun, familiar music from every decade where jazz has existed. The North Shorr Big Band has performed countless weddings and corporate functions as well as concerts, benefits, co-productions with the Minnesota Ballet, and a live radio broadcast on Wisconsin Public Radio. Venues have included Bayfront Festival Park, Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, Symphony Hall at the DECC, Norshor Theatre, Chester Bowl, Duluth Public Library, and many more.

The North Shore Big band will be Joined by the Denfeld Jazz Band and UMD Jazz I.
