Grand Opening: Seven Summers: Paintings from Bøverdalen by Arna Rennan

Arna Rennan returned to the source of inspiration as a plein air painter in Bøverdalen, Norway, a valley in Northern Gudbrandsdalen. This exhibit represents the places and stories that made a lasting impression on her as a painter and as a person. It illustrates why half of the population from this valley immigrated to the Midwest, the gulf between the wealthy and the poor farmers and how nature inspired Folklore.
