Gopher Hole Homegrown Comedy Show

Our Friday night showcase at the Gopher Hole is conveniently located inside the Gopher Bar and Grill in West Duluth. Come in early and grab a bite to eat. Food is available until 9 p.m.Cold drinks are served all night.

Minneapolis native Trevor Wade is the headliner. He began his stand-up comedy journey a bit later than most. That life experience and 25 years working as a Master Barber contribute to the pragmatic observations and opinions that he presents on stage with a smile. In 2010, he began hosting and producing his own comedy shows, highlighting the immensely talented Black comedy scene in the Twin Cities. “Representation is important. I rarely saw a Black comic host when I first started doing stand-up. So I started producing my shows in hopes of changing that narrative.

The show will feature Ulysses Zackery III, an actor/comedian/voice talent born in Minneapolis, MN. His credits include a starring role in the HBO Mini-Series “Laurel Ave.” and “Bill’s Gun Shop.” Ulysses also has done voiceover commercials for the NBA, NFL, Best Buy, General Mills, and countless others.
