The First Ladies of the Hillside, a grassroots group of women in Duluth’s Central Hillside, are hosting an annual event to build community. This child-friendly event is open to all with music and food.
At the event, participants will learn about First Ladies’ community initiatives. Attendees can participate in a silent auction to contribute to the Compassion Fund aimed at helping women and children in Duluth’s Central Hillside. Auction items range from paintings, fiber art, linocut art and jewelry to food delicacies. There will be an opportunity to learn about the “Food Forward” initiative to improve access to healthy foods for Central Hillside residents.
Several community partners are tabling at the event.
