John Owens is the Minnesota author of the new children’s book One Winter Up North, a wordless picture-book journey through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
A wintery adventure unfolds in pictures and gives readers a chance to discover—or rediscover—another season full of wonder in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
He is also a freelance illustrator and teaches at the University of Minnesota and is the author of One Summer Up North.
