Homeless Memorial Vigil
Chum's annual Homeless Memorial Vigil is an opportunity to remember those who have died in the past year who have also spent much of their lives homeless or advocating for those who are homeless. At 4:45 p.m. the Chum Food Shelf, 120 N. First Ave. W. will be collecting donations of winter outerwear for street outreach. Find out more »Christmas Eve at St. Paul’s Episcopal
All are invited to celebrate the story of Christmas. Children attending the service are encouraged to play a part in the yearly Christmas Eve Pageant. Costumes are ready for visitors to wear upon arrival. Any child wishing to play an Angel, Sheeptender, Wise Person or Creature is invited to participate. No practice need. Please arrive by 3:30 p.m. costume distribution and a brief orientation.

An anonymous Central Hillside resident is asking Duluthians to call for a ceasefire in Palestine by joining this "stand for liberation with the Indigenous peoples of Palestine." Wellness Reset
This class will offer participants a space to understand the importance of self-care and help with a wellness reset.. In this Zoom presentation, Sharon Day will present the spiritual practice of the Lake Superior Water Walk and discuss the importance of healing the water, the environment and ourselves through these water walks. Shodo Spring will give a Dharma talk. She has been practicing Zen since 1983 and received the precepts from Dainin Katagiri at the Minnesota Zen Center. She received priest ordination and Dharma transmission from Shohaku Okumura. Currently she offers traditional Zen and earth-based retreats, online classes and Dharma talks.
