Rubber Chicken Theater presents eight world-premiere plays, all created in just 24 hours.
On Friday night, eight writers draw Who, What and Where prompts from various hats, then go and write up a 10 minute script that incorporates those elements. On Saturday morning, directors and actors show up at Harbor City, along with the very tired writers. The directors then draw their scripts and their casts out of more hats and the fun begins. The directors and actors rehearse all day, finding whatever props and costumes they can along the way and at showtime, all eight shows are debuted to an appreciative audience.
The musical group Dance Attic (Jimi Cooper & Susan Ludwig) will be making a super special cameo to preform in some capacity in all eight plays. Eight mystery guests will also make short appearances in each play, and no one will know who they are until they hit the stage.
