Phil Huston’s 70th Birthday Party

The North Shore Adventure Park in Silver Bay is celebrating its founder’s 70th birthday with a week of specials to encourage all older adults to stay active. The week culminates with a birthday celebration on Aug. 7.
Phil Huston is the creator and the heart behind the Adventure Park. Despite surviving cancer and living with multiple chronic conditions and several rebuilt joints, he continues to lead an active lifestyle.
Specials for the week include grandparents climbing for free with two other climbers, 20 percent off Adventure Park gear, and climbers older than Phil climb free.
On Saturday, Phil will also be coaching a limit of four climbers over age 65 who want to try the Black Storm course, the park’s most challenging. To consider this option, contact phil @ northshoreadventurepark.com.
The North Shore Adventure Park is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day but Tuesday. It is the only forest climbing park in Minnesota, providing exciting adventures for families, individuals and groups. The park offers 75 adventure challenges, 65 obstacles and 10 zip lines that help develop skills and endurance.
