Downtown Duluth, the nonprofit community organization that promotes and supports the city's downtown area, presents Get Downtown week April 22–27. The event celebrates restaurants, retailers and breweries by inviting people to shop, eat and drink downtown and take advantage of special offers from about 30 participating businesses.

Make-and-Take Jelly Eye Makeup
Participants in this workshop make a container of jelly eye makeup, choosing from more than 100 color options. Jelly makeup applies like a gel, but sets like a powder, leaving behind a satin glow without the slip and slide typically associated with liquid and cream highlighters. Each workshop participant will go home with a 10-gram container or two 5-gram containers of jelly eye makeup. Various one-hour sessions are available throughout the week.
