Hands on Clay!

A two-hour hands-on workshop for adults and teens. Students will work at their own electric pottery wheels while learning foundational techniques including wedging, centering clay, creating cylinders and forming simple bowls. These core skills provide the foundation for making functional pottery such as mugs, bowls and vases. Note: pieces made during class will not be fired or kept. This workshop is designed as an introductory learning experience.
