Castle Danger Brewery’s 15th Anniversary
Castle Danger is celebrating 15 years in business with a full day of specialty beers, live music, food, family-friendly activities and the finale of its Golden Anniversary ATV Giveaway.
Schedule
11 a.m. to 1 p.m – Woodblind
1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Mid Dream
4 to 6 p.m. – Big Wave Dave & The Ripples
7 to 9 p.m. – Indecent Proposal
Food is available from BoB-a-Q Smokehouse & Grill and The Rainy Rose, along with sweet treats from Love Creamery.
Activities include face painting, rock painting, Hug a Hen, a bouncy house obstacle course, cornhole, giant ladder golf and more.
Meet local organizations and vendors throughout the day, including Seagren’s PowerSports, Superior Hiking Trail Association, Stuff the Bus, Wildwoods, Two Harbors Area Food Shelf and more.
Dirt Bar Jam 2026
The ninth annual Dirt Bar Jam is a free music festival raising money for music education. It features eight live bands, a food truck, local vendors, a photo booth, charity raffle, free camping and a northwoods atmosphere.
Duluth lands new food truck with Bowlz n’ Thangz

Bowlz n’ Thangz’s black food truck sat outside Wild State Cider in the Lincoln Park Craft District. Every seat in the cidery’s patio and tap room were filled with trivia players and spectators, sipping and snacking. (more…)
Northland Larder serving up cured meats on Duluth’s waterfront
New among Duluth’s food trucks and trailers this summer is Northland Larder. The “immobile mobile food trailer” is parked near the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center between the Vista Fleet and the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Minnesota Slip into Canal Park. It features a shaded dining area, synthetic turf and Loll furniture. (more…)

As Duluth residents and tourists head outdoors, it’s time for the food trucks, carts and trailers to hit the streets, offering up fast and easy food on the run. To keep up with these restaurants on wheels, we present PDD’s 2015 rundown of who’s cooking what and where.
Listed below are the mobile food services licensed to operate on the streets of Duluth. Not listed are the various vendors who serve exclusively at events or specific locations, such as the Green Mill pizza trailer or various purveyors of mini donuts. Also, we should note Duluth has at least one pop-up restaurant — Izakaya 218 — which recently resumed its weekly Taco Tuesdays at the Red Herring Lounge. (more…)
