Fitger’s 5K
The Fitger’s 5K has grown into one of the state’s premier spring races, offering a challenge for runners of all ages and abilities while taking participants on a scenic tour of Downtown Duluth. All net proceeds benefit the Young Athletes Foundation. Registration is available online at raceroster.com.

Duluth's abortion fund, H.O.T.D.I.S.H Militia, hosts a fund raiser. Participants can register a team and set a fund raising goal. On April 27th all teams will gather in costume at Incline Station to celebrate the money raised for abortion access. H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia (Hand Over The Decision It’S Healthcare) exists to ensure reproductive freedom, bodily autonomy and abortion access for all people in the Northland by providing financial support for abortion care.

Justice North, formerly Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota, presents the annual family-friendly Law Day 5K run/walk. The 5K begins and ends at the Duluth East High School parking lot. Toast to Tails
The Lake Superior Zoo hosts Toast to Tails and tribute to the Roaring 20s. There will be an appetizer buffet, alcohol tastings, music, animal encounters and games. North Shore Ballroom will teach three dances: the Charleston, Swing and Foxtrot. There will also be a Silent Movie/Silent Auction Theater with a popcorn bar and a costume contest with prizes for the winners. Tickets are $45 for zoo member general event tickets, $50 for non-members and $125 for VIP tickets.
