Understanding Substance Abuse and Naloxone Training

Trinity Lutheran Church, in partnership with the Faith Community Housing Committee of Stepping On Up, hosts this free community-education event. Topics include common street drugs, harm reduction, Naloxone administration and opioid-overdose reversal, substance-use treatment and community-based support for recovery.

This is a training event for new volunteers, staff and community members. Breakfast will be available from 8:30-9 a.m. and the training runs from 9-11:30 a.m. Training is provided by Harm Reduction Sisters, St Louis County Public Health and Human Services and Recovery Alliance Duluth. Naloxone will be available to take home. Pre-register using the QR code in the flyer.
