SUMMARY:Understanding Substance Abuse and Naloxone Training
DESCRIPTION:Trinity Lutheran Church\, in partnership with the Faith Community Housing Committee of Stepping On Up\, hosts this free community-education event. Topics include common street drugs\, harm reduction\, Naloxone administration and opioid-overdose reversal\, substance-use treatment and community-based support for recovery.  \nThis is a training event for new volunteers\, staff and community members. Breakfast will be available from 8:30-9 a.m. and the training runs from 9-11:30 a.m. Training is provided by Harm Reduction Sisters\, St Louis County Public Health and Human Services and Recovery Alliance Duluth. Naloxone will be available to take home. Pre-register using the QR code in the flyer.
