Caregiver Coffee and Conversation
Free
Caregiving can feel isolating. At times it may feel like few truly understand what your days (and nights) are really like. If this sounds familiar, then this gathering is for you.
Caregiver Coffee and Conversation is a relaxed, facilitated discussion space where caregivers can slow down, connect with others who get it, and leave feeling a little less alone. Whether you’re caring for a parent living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, a spouse managing a chronic illness, or a family member or friend with a disability — you’re welcome here, exactly as you are.
There’s no agenda to follow and no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. A trained facilitator (Georgia Lane, Director of Aging Initiatives at Ecolibrium3) will gently guide the conversation, and the space is designed to be warm, non-judgmental and genuinely supportive.
In addition to peer connection, attendees will have access to information about local caregiver support resources.
What to expect:
– A small, welcoming group setting
– A trained facilitator — not a lecture, just a conversation
– Space to share, listen, or simply be present
– Practical information and local resources available to take home
