The Duluth-Superior Film Festival is upon us, and that means it’s time for another premiere from Duluth’s budding film community. Gleahan and the Knaves of Industry, by first-time writer/director Samuel T. Weston, makes its debut Thursday night at 9 p.m. at Teatro Zuccone. As with all of the DSFF screenings, tickets are free.
Local filmmaker Samuel T. Weston is no stranger to filmmaking here in Duluth. Last year he made three short films here in town, and another one premiered on the Duluth CW’s “Night at the Movies.”
Now he needs your help with his next big project: a feature film called Gleahan and the Knaves of Industry. Sam has once again partnered with the team that’s growing at the Duluth Film Collective. They call Gleahan an Adventure Comedy where “an opportunistic asshole joins the quest of a delusional man who thinks he lives in a fantasy world.”
