Greysolon Plaza residents upset to lose their corner store as landlord goes upscale
My wife will be completing the motorcycle safety class and is in need of a used bike. She would prefer something modern, under 500CCs and not of the “cruiser” style. If you have such an item hanging around now would be a great time to trade it to me for cash. I have searched Craigslist daily and cannot find more than one or two suitable choices so I figured I would shake the PDD tree to see if anything falls out. Reply to this post or e-mail me at junkmailcrapbox @ gmail (dot) com with pics, details and contact info. Thanks.

$450,000 for computers? I suppose they have to keep up with the $800 chairs each councilor has. Anyone who works in technology / retail, does this seem like a lot of money?

I was out enjoying the local snowmobile trails yesterday and came across a man walking his two dogs; a man with his child and dog walking; a man, child and two dogs XC skiing (not the dogs); a woman walking; and a man riding his mountain bike.
These are all great outdoor recreational activities to enjoy and I am not mad that they are participating, I am mad that they were all on the state snowmobile trail. If I were to ride down a ski trail, or the Lakewalk, or a regular sidewalk for that matter, people would be calling the police and hopping up and down in anger. So why is it OK to break the rules the other way?

Do with it what you will. I think it is very interesting.
I have seen several job openings posted for the Clearwater Grille (formerly Lakeview Castle) so they must be getting close. Anyone have more info on a grand opening date?
I need some work done to my 2000 Ski-Doo. I have contacted local dealers and their shop rates are astronomical ($65-$90/ hour!) and they typically will not let me purchase the needed parts on my own which adds many hundreds of dollars to the total bill. I have asked around and many mechanics are too busy to take on any more projects.
Does anyone know of a reputable snowmobile mechanic that has immediate availability? I also have some friends that would be interested in booking some smaller maintenance type jobs with him/ her. I am trying to keep within a 20-30 mile radius of Duluth.
Thanks in advance for any responses, and I know it is only August but we may have snow in the next 90 days, and I’m trying to be prepared.
