Postcard from Clarkson Coal and Dock Company in 1936

This postcard of the Clarkson Coal and Dock Company on Duluth’s waterfront was mailed Aug. 17, 1936 — 90 years ago today.

The particular card shown here was sent to Maryannis Baumgartner of Kendallville, Indiana. The message on the back reads:

Hi ya Maryannis. Had a nice time up in Duluth. Saw lots of big boats and pretty girls. Going up to Marquette today. Did you have a nice trip? I’ll be seeing you.
