A panorama from the Boulevard created using three photos shot by renowned 19th century photographer William Henry Jackson when he visited Duluth ca. 1900. Jackson built his reputation photographing western scenery mainly around Colorado and Wyoming. His photographs of Yellowstone were displayed in the halls of Congress and were highly influential in the establishment of America’s first national park. Jackson eventually sold all his negatives to the Detroit Publishing Company and was employed by the firm for several years.
