Shark Watching Society

I spent part of Wednesday in front of a bonfire setting marshmallows on fire. There is really no point to slowly toasting them when you can set them on fire, after all. It was a meeting of the Lake Superior Shark Watching Society.

There were about ten or twelve of us — some teens there I think because they were attached to a responsible adult, trying to do homework between shivers. A stack of faculty from UMD and LSC, and their significant others, sat on the shore keeping Duluth safe.

Glensheen recently released the video below, but there is no mention of the society or its bonfires.
