May 1 Book Fair at Barnes and Noble, Fundraiser for Duluth Public Library

Saturday, May 1, Barnes and Noble Duluth hosts a Bookfair to benefit Friends of the Duluth Public Library. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Library. Vouchers are available online at

10:30 Gary Boelhower, faculty at College of St. Scholastica, reads poetry

11:00 Mary Linda Sather, author of “Boo Boo Bear’s Mission” does storytime

11:30 Making May Baskets for kids to 10 years old

1:00 Ellie Schoenfeld, author of “The Dark Honey” (Clover Valley Press), reads poetry

2:00 Demonstration of hand-spinning: How to get Yarn from a Sheep

That book store you mentioned uses an ampersand. Just a thing for me. I'm part of the Ampersand Preservation Society. Please, use it wisely, and joyously in this case..
