That’s awesome. I have three cousins that attended Deer River High School and they had very different high school experiences than I. In the fall they’d get official days off of school for deer hunting and the school parking lot would be full of snowmobiles in the winter. Even there though, spotting a moose is a rare blessing.
That’s great! It’s a shame that we have so many deer and such a dearth of moose around here. I saw one crossing the road up by Grand Portage once, and that’s about it for me and mooses getting together.
