DAWN Business Resource Summit and Pitch Competition

Driving Access to Wealth & Networks is a program of the Duluth-based nonprofit business consulting group Northspan. The DAWN Business Resource Summit and Pitch Competition celebrates entrepreneurship and innovation across northeastern Minnesota. It includes a business resource summit and a pitch competition and showcase, offering opportunities to learn about regional and state access to business funding and technical assistance.

Up to 10 entrepreneurs will take the stage to pitch their businesses. The grand prize winner receives a $5,000 grant and the runner up receives a $2,500 grant.

Business Resource Summit at Giants Ridge Main Chalet
11:30 a.m. – Check in, lunch buffet and welcome
11:45 a.m. – Panel 1, Regional Access to Funding
12:15 p.m. – Panel 2, Statewide Access to Funding
12:45 p.m. – Panel 3, Regional & Statewide Technical Assistance
1:15 p.m. – Connect in small groups with technical assistance providers.
2 p.m. – Summit concludes.

2:55 p.m. – Opening remarks
3 p.m. – Live pitches begin
4 p.m. – Networking and Pitch Showcase during judge deliberation
4:55 p.m. – Pitch winner announced
